Chick's is the recently renovated and restored restaurant, that was previously owned and operated by the Ciccalese family since 1893!

About a year ago, owner Nella Genovese and chef Jim Piano purchased the bar and began the task of reviving it. Nella and Jim consider the building and it's previous owners, an important part of Philadelphia history, specifically it's Italian - American history, and as a result, they have tried to honor that history by keeping many of the original architectural details and overall spirit in tact.

Chick's is still a neighborhood bar with a welcoming, casual and friendly atmosphere, and yet, has greatly increased the sophistication and diversity in the food and beverages offerings. With a focus on the cuisines of Italy, France and Spain.

Chick's now offers 50 wines by the glass, 8 draft and 14 bottled beers, a creative yet historically minded cocktail list, and a drink friendly, seasonally directed, smart small plate food menu.
